POTORA
Welcome to the POTORA family, where we are not just about filling plates, but fulfilling dreams too.
With a passion for empowering home cooks and being part of the community, we make it easy and affordable for you to eat nutritious and delicious meals every day
Meet Diana Potora,
The Founder and Owner of POTORA
Embarking on my journey from Romania to England in my early twenties, I was driven by a deep-seated desire to be seen, accepted, and valued, while also sheltering a burning ambition to make a tangible difference in the world. Starting as a barista and mastering the art of crafting excellent coffee, with every endeavour I took there was a natural drive and urge to uplift and support others, particularly women. My passion for empowering individuals, however, felt overshadowed in the corporate world, where the pursuit of profit often eclipsed human connection.
Despite my success in senior leadership roles, I could not shake off the feeling of emptiness that always lingered somewhere in the background. It was then that the words of Eleanor Roosevelt resonated deeply within me: "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." Deep down somehow, I knew I could make a bigger difference the question was how.
I started searching for My Ikigai and that is where I found my love for people, changing lives and cooking good food.
In August 2022, amidst uncertainty and fear, I resigned my corporate job and started my Avocado and Red Wine journey. Though the journey was fraught with setbacks and lessons, each stumble became a stepping stone towards personal and professional growth. Through it all, I discovered my authentic self, embracing my purpose and values with unwavering conviction.
Today, I want to stand as a beacon of resilience, determination, and authenticity, striving to inspire and empower women to step into their greatness unapologetically. Grateful for the support of dear family and friends who witnessed my story so far, my mission now is to pay it forward, enabling others to embark on their own transformative journeys.
So, I am on the lookout for other enthusiastic cooks to help them create the business of their dreams from home as part of the amazing POTORA franchise opportunities. Because we don’t just fill plates, we fulfil dreams.
I want to finish with one of my favourite quotes and echo Mahatma Gandhi's timeless words: 'Have the courage to be the change you want to see in the world.'
